Who Are We?
A Creative Start Learning Center, with two convenient locations in Springfield, MO, offers the best in daycare for children 6 weeks to 12-years-old. We have several wonderful and innovative programs for children of various ages, including before and after school care, pre-k/kindergarten readiness, and hands-on learning. These programs will ensure that your children are prepared for school, getting their homework done in a timely manner, and socializing in a constructive and appropriate way with their peers. We will aid your child in their academic development, teaching them and supplying them with a supportive and rewarding environment in which they can thrive. All of our staff members are highly experienced, and must complete ongoing educational classes, CPR training, and fingerprinted background checks every year. Whatever your child requires, whether they simply need a transitional place to stay before or after school or they require additional learning opportunities, A Creative Start is here to help!
What Do We Offer
We offer three main programs here at A Creative Start:
Before and After School Care:
We will transport your children to and from Disney Elementary School. In the morning we’ll make sure they get their breakfast, check to ensure their backpacks are ready to go and their homework is complete. After school we’ll assist them with homework, feed them a snack, and give them some time to play outside and socialize.
Pre-K/Kindergarten Readiness:
Our readiness program is for children younger than preschool age, around the age of 2, who are looking to enter school with knowledge that surpasses what they’ll need to succeed. We help them with handwriting, motor functions, counting and more, as well as helping them learn basic discipline and how to take direction from teachers.
Hands-On Learning:
We can also assist your children with academic goals with our hands-on learning program. Every day we’ll have different workstations that incorporate both learning and play, teaching the children things like handwriting and basic math. We’ll make learning a fun, tactile process, and we’ll keep track of all their progress in a portfolio so that you and your child can look back proudly on their accomplishments.
A Creative Start is a Christian-based facility, which means that we do pray at mealtimes and maintain Christian traditions for holidays like Easter and Christmas. However, children of all faiths are welcome in our program!
